Ash Everywhere!

Last winter, when my husband and I went to use our fireplace, we thought that all we needed to do was light a fire. Little did we know the entire first floor of our home started to smoke; we hadn’t cleaned the chimney. Of course, the one thing we had forgotten to do was to call for chimney cleaning in Long Island NY! Not only did smoke billow out of the fireplace, the ash stuck around. It took my husband and me three hours to vacuum up the ashy damage we had done. This year, we’re cleaning the chimney during the off season instead of waiting until the last minute and getting into a jam. No more trading off warm winter’s nights and a big mess!
